ADAMS Foundation micro finance program contributes to SDG-1 by facilitating to access financial services such as loan, savings and insurances, for poor and disadvannced people for income generation activities. In 2020 to 2024 ADAMS Foundation Microfinance program provided loans to 22975 borrowers and helped to establish rights to economic resources. Insurance options on loans to protect them against financial risks.
ADAMS microfinance program provides Agriculture loans to increase food and nutrition security with resilient livelihood and food security. ADAMS Foundation supported to 22975 poor households in 2020 to 2024 to increase food and nutrition security with resilient livelihoods and entrepreneurship development. In addition the microfinance program provided 4123 Agricultural loans in 2020 to 2024 period. The agricultural loans contribute to increased crop productivity, increased livelihoods and food security
Improving maternal and child health care program is a priority area for ADAMS foundation Health program. The community health workers, nurses and doctors provides quality and affordable primary health care services including safe delivery for pregnant women and referral serves to connect people seeking appropriate healthcare services. In 2020 to 2024 ADAMS Foundation health programs contribute to provide 70479 antenatal care (ANC) and 16742 postnatal care (PNC) services, as well as follow –up care and 5148 safe delivery services by skilled doctors and birth attendance.
ADAMS foundation education program provides quality education at early child hood and vocational level for skill development. In ADAMS early childhood centers children’s under five years of age are enrolled. In 2020 to 2024 ADAMS Foundation provided preprimary education to 9250 children through 74 preprimary education centers. ADAMS also provided 2317 youth boys and girls on different vocational training courses through ADAMS Integrated training Institute (AITI) and AITC.
Some programs of ADAMS foundation implement interventions that address gender equality like Health, non-formal education, awareness raising training program and community forum. These programs provide training on gender related general concepts including gender equality and gender violence.
Under SDG 6 ADAMS Foundation contributes on using of safe drinking water through innovating a filter which arsenic sanitation hygiene practices including menstrual Hygiene. ADAMS WASH program provided at households with sustainable access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities in 2014 to 2016 for 170 households though installing 100 arsenic free tube wells and 170 hygiene toilets.
ADAMS Foundation contributes to SDG 8 through implementing microfinance, SME, water, sanitation & hygiene program and skill development program for young people and reduction of unemployment. ADAMS Foundation microfinance program contributes to boost economic growth by providing loans to individuals and businesses to invest in expansion and ultimately leads to higher productivity and job creation. During the period 2020 to 2024 ADAMS Foundation microfinance program provided loans to 89705 borrowers. With the aim of reducing unemployment ADAMS foundation skill development program provides training programs for unprevailed young boys, girl’s adults and climate migrant’s family members for contributing to a reduction of unemployment by linking them with decent work opportunities. During 2020 to 2024 ADAMS skill development program provided training to 2317 participants.
ADAMS Foundation activities related to climate Action (SDG 13) is implemented by Climate change adaptation, mitigation, Loss & Damage and disaster management program through its efforts to installling solar panel, Improve coock tove and implementing capacity building workshop and training program. ADAMS foundation disasyter management program provided emergency support to 4,519 households in 1998 flood, Sidr, Ayla, covid-19. ADAMS foundation climate change program has helped to raise plinth of 400 houses, imstall 30 raised tubles and 170 sanitary latrins to climate vulnerable households and also supported climate adaptive agricultura support throug providing 50 case fishing, 550 poultry, duck and goat rearing and climate smart homeastead gardening to 600 HH for alternative livlyhood solutions.
ADAMS Foundation contributes to SDG 16 through implementing two programs like community fourm project and awareness related training programs. ADAMS Community forum project contribuyes to SDG 16 through providing training and councelling support. In 2025 total 960 comminity forum ward members and yoith forum members received traiing on human rights and good governnance issues
