In disasters, whether it is natural or man-made, ADAMS always supports its beneficiaries to get over the distressed situation. In this regard, ADAMS prime concern is to provide immediate support before the plight of the victims becomes aggravated. During any disaster, ADAMS has always extended its activities with help of Local & Foreign agencies from the Floods in 1998 to till date. ADAMS has been working with Bangladesh Bank since 2011 for Grihayan Tahabil for providing low costing housing for the under privileged people of rural and urban areas of Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is prone to natural disaster like cyclone, floods, tidal scourge, flash flood, river erosion etc. which can destroy houses and displace people. Limited resources particularly low income households hinder their ability to rebuild or repair homes independently. These events often damage or destroy homes, leaving many families displaced. Particularly among low-income households have Limited resources, and not ability to rebuild or repair homes independently. Considering the matter ADAMS took initiatives to build houses in rehabilitation program after any disasters through partnership with Bangladesh Bank since 2012. We had disbursed loan to the shelter less or shelter damaged by disaster people on low interest rate. We have a wide plan to support poor people on housing issues in future.
