Project Area: Khulna City Corporation, Khulna.

Background: Despite having fertile soil and emerging manpower, we are lagging behind due to lack of awareness, proper understanding of responsibilities and lack of trained manpower. A dedicated platform has been created under the said project known as “Community Forum” Where the slum dwellers and adjacent general people can become aware of their responsibilities, duties and rights through organizational processes or activities through interaction (i.e., cooperation) and mutual cooperation. The local government can cooperate with local level organizations and also ensure public service activities and enjoy civil rights. Besides, efforts will be made to provide financial support to the slum women to become self-reliant and provide technical education for their income employment by training all members in related subjects and forming a youth forum with their children.
